Maimoa Creative is a Māori-owned brand based in Tauranga that is passionate about promoting the Māori language and culture through unique designs, products and resources. Our aim is to help normalise the use of te reo Māori in everyday life, empower tangata whenua to be proud of their māoritanga, and support learners on their journey.

The Tūpou | Personal Pronouns Poster + Flashcards have been an amazing resource to use while teaching the tamariki in my Akomanga Māori akonga at kura. Ngā mihi nui once again for this wonderful prize I was lucky enough to have won.

I bought this as a gift for friend who won an awesome promotion in her mahi, and it seemed like an ideal gift. She said she loves it but wants to keep it safe at home because it's too special for work in case it gets lost.

I am doing a level 1 te reo Māori course and personal pronouns are something I struggle with so I love these cards and especially the poster. They are so helpful as a reference, I use them all the time, the graphics a great too, Ngā mihi maimoa creative!

I pinned this to my wall at work, and the first day it was there, someone walked past then stopped and asked what it meant. I gave them the literal translation and the meaning of it (as I understand it) which lead to more conversations. As tangata tiriti this is another way for me to support tangata whenua, and normalise te reo in the workplace.
