Christine McLeod I pinned this to my wall at work, and the first day it was there, someone walked past then stopped and asked what it meant. I gave them the literal translation and the meaning of it (as I understand it) which lead to more conversations. As tangata tiriti this is another way for me to support tangata whenua, and normalise te reo in the workplace.

Having this available and accessible and how easy it is to include in our whare and our everyday reo journey is just beautiful!! It’s placed by the moenga in our whare so it’s easy to see in the morning and easy to practice for when karakia is needed.
