This year, we decided to put a unique twist on the well-known recorded radio call by creating a humorous reo Māori parody video that's guaranteed to bring smiles and laughter.
With a passion for promoting te reo Māori and a love for humour, we set out to create a parody that paid homage to the Father's Day radio call while adding our own creative spin. From brainstorming ways to accurately translate the call while capturing the essence of it, to perfecting the delivery of reo Māori phrases, the creative process was filled with laughter and collaboration.
This project was a labour of love and laughter. By blending cultural pride and a desire to make language learning fun and engaging, we hope to continue fostering an environment where te reo Māori is celebrated and embraced.
