Maisie Bought these rauemi for our tamariki aged 6 & 4 just before Term 3 started. Our 6 y.o has takiwātanga & aroreretini and had a really rough Term 2 where lots of our usual structures and routines just weren't working for him anymore. I got these with the intention of starting Term 3 on a fresh page. They have been exactly that, both him and our 4 y.o love the version that can fold over/cover the tasks they've completed. It has made our mornings so much smoother where I will just redirect them to their mahi charts, as opposed to continuously repeating myself and then feeling hōhā at them. They take a little while to set up in terms of printing/cutting/laminating/sticking but are WELL worth the effort. E rere ana ngā mihi! 🙌🏽❤️

I initially purchased these to help my mokopuna, who is non-verbal, to communicate and better understand daily routines in our whare when he comes to stay. Having them in te reo Māori perfect
Not only are these resources helping him to communicate, understand and navigate his routines, but they are also supporting his learning of te reo Māori and helping him to connect with and understand who he is.
As a Māori whānau, this means so much to us. Having resources that support communication while also strengthening his reo, identity and connection is something I am extremely grateful for.
