‘Ngā Mihi’ is a lowercase typeface inspired by common Māori motifs appearing in traditional art and designs, in particular the art of whakairo (carving). A strong figure-ground relationship between the individual letterforms creates a bold, intriguing, and culturally stylistic font that will bring a unique flavour to your project*.
This typeface is best showcased as a display font, and is perfect for applications across cultural, design, fashion, art, and branding projects.
Enjoy using one of the few Māori inspired typefaces available to the public.
