'Ngā Mihi' Desktop Font

$19.00

‘Ngā Mihi’ is a lowercase typeface inspired by common Māori motifs appearing in traditional art and designs, in particular the art of whakairo (carving). This typeface is best showcased as a display font, and is perfect for applications across cultural, design, fashion, art, and branding projects.

Enjoy using one of the few Māori inspired typefaces available to the public.

He taonga te momotuhi nōu

I have searched and searched for a typeface that was uniquely Māori, that I could use on a daily basis, there was none, every year I would search, yet none was to be found, until finally Ngā Mihi. It's also very affordable for myself being on a tight budget, especially in comparison with other typefaces, and what this font uniquely represents, I am beyond thankful 🥰. It's also very brave to place this out into the open world as it is a real treasure, but it will be appreciated as such by those who use it. I will happily adhere to the terms set out in it's use. The font for me, has whakawhanaungatanga, identity Māori, and healing, all wrapped up in one, and provides me with a feeling of satisfaction. Kei te mihia e au ki a koe.

Tēnā koe Tipene, e mihi ana ki a koe. Thank you so much for the lovely review, always love hearing how the font is received and appreciated. Enjoy using it in your projects :)
